As you might know, we are nominated for the Amsterdamprijs voor de Kunst, which is an honour in and of itself. On the 26th of October, we will know if we have won the price in the category ‘Best Performance’.

This is what the jury and AT5 wrote about us:

Museum / creative platform OSCAM focuses on increasing interest in visual art in Amsterdam, and especially in Southeast. At OSCAM there is room for artists who want to tell their story raw, and from their own background, and who are sometimes not welcome at other established institutions.

“For us, for OSCAM, for our community, for our family, the nomination means that our stories are appreciated by the city of Amsterdam,” says founder Marian Duff. “And that feels really good.”
