Are you a recycle artist and available between the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024 to create a new piece of art featuring the feminist and politician Corry Tendeloo, with a maximum size of 2.40 x 1.20 meters? If so, we are looking for you!

We have a budget of up to €7,500, depending on your proposal, and your work will be displayed on a white wall in the corridor of the Corry Tendeloo Building, part of the Faculty of Business and Economics at HvA. This artwork will help give the building a distinct identity.

Here are the conditions:
– Corry Tendeloo must be recognizable in your artwork.
– You must use recycled or repurposed materials, creating a circular piece of art.
– The maximum dimensions are 2.40 x 1.20 meters.

The process and timeline are as follows: Please submit your proposal, including references to your previous work, your approach, and a quote by November 17th. A committee will review the submissions, and the decision will be announced in early December. Once selected, the chosen artist will be commissioned to create the piece. We expect the artist to allocate time for this project in the upcoming months, with the installation taking place in early February.

If you’re interested in this opportunity, we look forward to receiving your proposal and seeing your creative vision for this project. Let’s make Corry Tendeloo’s presence felt in our building through your sustainable and unique artwork!
