OSCAM Digital Expressions x Other Futures present: Jacque Njeri
Starting from 2022, OSCAM presents Digital Expressions. In Digital Expressions artists get the chance to show their work inspired by digital influences. The first edition is in collaboration with Other Futures: a multidisciplinary festival, exhibition and online platform that presents speculative visions of the future.
Jacque Njeri (KE)
Jacque Njeri is a multidisciplinary design creative and visual artist whose work addresses culture, feminism and female empowerment through projected extraterrestrial realities. She has a bachelor’s degree in Art and Design from the University of Nairobi.
Jacque has realised three art projects so far: the Stamp Series, the Mau-Mau Dream and the Maasci Series, for which she received global acclaim. These projects have led her from featurings on CNN and BBC to exhibitions in her home country and notably to the Other Futures Festival in Amsterdam.
