OSCAM Speak Session: Creativity, Culture & Career Moves

Calling all creatives, storytellers, visionaries and builders this evening is for you.

Join us for the second edition of our OSCAM Speak Session, where we go deep with a panel of young creatives whose work has been shaped and inspired by the heart of Amsterdam Zuidoost.

Through open and honest conversation, we’ll explore how the Bijlmer helped spark their creative careers but also how the area continues to challenge, fuel, and influence the hustle moderated by Lovia Opoku (founder of Reform Stigma). We’ll reflect on identity, opportunity, and visibility, while also shedding light on the current reality of entrepreneurship in Zuidoost.

Together, we’ll explore how their roots in Zuidoost shaped their careers, how they continue to give back to the community, and what the future of creative entrepreneurship looks like in the city’s most dynamic district.

After the panel, stay for Speed Date Networking by UMA SOCIETY, a chance to connect with other creatives, share your vision, and maybe even find your next collaborator.

Sluit aan bij de tweede editie van de OSCAM Speak Session, waarin we in gesprek gaan met een panel van jonge creatives die in hun werk zijn gevormd en geïnspireerd door het hart van Amsterdam Zuidoost.

In een open en eerlijk gesprek duiken we dieper in de manier waarop de Bijlmer hun creatieve carrières heeft aangewakkerd  maar ook hoe het stadsdeel hen blijft uitdagen, voeden en richting geven gemodereerd door Lovia Opoku (founder of Reform Stigma). We staan stil bij thema’s als identiteit, kansen en zichtbaarheid, en werpen tegelijkertijd licht op de hedendaagse realiteit van ondernemerschap in Zuidoost.
