Education & Participation

As a museum we do not only show art; we educate, we participate

OSCAM offers a diverse educational program where art, dialogue, and creativity come together. We invite schools, after school care organisations and young adults to explore new perspectives and actively participate in art and culture through our educational program. If you are interested in collaborating or learning more about the possibilities, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] on behalf of Joanna Bright.

Young OSCAM year activity

Three times a year, OSCAM organizes an educational theme week for groups 7/8, where classes take part in an interactive tour and creative workshop. Each week focuses on a social issue, using art to tell stories, spark reflection, and encourage dialogue. The children have the opportunity to develop and express their perspectives on topics like freedom, identity, and inclusivity.

Exhibition activities

For each major exhibition, OSCAM organizes creative sessions for young adults and adults, where we actively explore the theme of the exhibition. The sessions consist of an in-depth tour of the exhibition, with dialogue and personal interpretation at the core, followed by a workshop where participants create art reflecting their own perspectives.

Young OSCAM: Look Around x Echobox

Look Around is a concept that embraces the identity of OSCAM in a podcast format. Young OSCAM producer and moderator Shaquille Shaniqua Joy invites creatives to talk about their creative journey and their insights from the industry.
